

I was gonna do a detailed description of each preset and what I mainly use them for but my computer kept locking up so I figured I better make this a quick upload sooooooo. As with the Quake 2 skins, if the reaction is favorable then I will be releasing more packs in the future. As with anything in the digital world it is easy to create settings, but hard to make GOOD ones. SuperBladePros features include waterstains, moss, abrasion, spotlighting, dust, grit, embossing, fractal blotches, and smooth Gaussian bevels. SuperBladePro was originally available as a program but is now a plug-in filter that works with select applications, such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel PaintShop Pro. How to convert: Probably cannot be converted to other formats. How to open: May be opened by Paint Shop Pro. The level of detail you can achieve by adjusting a few settings here and there never ceases to blow my mind. A q5q file extension is related to the SuperBladePro and used for its preset files. I use it almost exclusively in my work to create everything from chains with realistic lighting (when a 3D modeler isn't available) to armor for everything from knights to shock troops.


Super Blade Pro (by Flaming Pear) is extremely useful (especially to those skin makers out there). Presets for one of my favorite texture generating plugins.
